About Aging Ally
We believe you shouldn’t have to play investigator to help your parents live on their own terms.
The current system of eldercare is a maze of fragmented specialists and overwhelming paperwork. Aging Ally exists to provide curated, personalized information and the tactical support you need to handle whatever comes next.
While we’re experts at helping families navigate sudden events, our real goal is to help you to plan for the “inevitables” so that when life shifts, you’re making decisions with confidence.

Principal Allies

Beth Flynn
Living the “Sandwich Generation” reality and seeing others struggle with it too is what inspired Beth to create Aging Ally. She was thrown into the deep end when her in-laws’ health failed, sending her husband to the UK for five months and leaving her to solo parent their three- and five-year-olds. That eventually led to her mother-in-law living with them—a masterclass in the grit and logistics required to manage a multi-generational family.
As an only child living across the country from her own parents, Beth also knows the isolation of being the sole person in charge from afar. Her background in personal finance was a professional asset until it became a personal necessity after her parents fell victim to a fraudster. That experience sharpened her resolve: no family should have to navigate the financial and emotional minefields of aging without a map.
A natural problem-solver who thrives on helping people navigate unfamiliar and complicated choices, Beth is an Ally in the truest sense. Based in Northern California with her husband and two daughters, she balances her own busy life with a passion for guiding others through the challenges of aging with confidence and clarity.

Deirdre Moynihan
Deirdre is the co-founder of Aging Ally. She has walked the full arc of aging-parent care, from advocacy and medical navigation to assisted living, skilled nursing, hospice, and end-of-life. These years gave her lived understanding of the emotional, logistical, and relational challenges families face, and the clarity that no one should have to navigate them alone.
She is a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach dedicated to helping people gain more agency over their well-being. Her work centers on longevity, preventive care, and the meaningful question of what it truly means to age well—in body, mind, relationships, and identity.
Earlier in her career, Deirdre worked in corporate marketing, public service advertising, and brand strategy. She worked closely with Dr. Dale Bredesen, author of The End of Alzheimer’s and a pioneer in Alzheimer’s research, prevention, and treatment. In that role, she deepened her understanding of cognitive health, lifestyle-based prevention, and what it means to support individuals and families living with dementia.
Deirdre lives in Northern California with her husband and son. She believes aging is not something that simply “happens to us”, it is a journey we can shape with intention, dignity, and connection.

- Personalized You aren’t a “demographic,” and your family isn’t a template. We skip the generic advice and build a plan based on your life, your parents or loved one, and your unique family dynamics.
- Action, Not Just Advice Doctors and advisors often tell you what is wrong, but rarely how to fix it. We don’t just hand you a list of issues; we give you a step-by-step roadmap that tells you exactly what to do on Monday morning.
